Hello YAPers! We are rapidly moving into 2016. Lots of great things on the horizon, so stay tuned for updates.
I am eagerly awaiting information on a possible collaboration with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. It's been a few years since I've held an event at one of the branches and would love to get folks writing creatively with another workshop.

If you're free on February 20, 2016, stop by Park Road Books for my very first picture book signing of Nana's Favorite Things! The book is for ages 4-7, and I'll be reading it to everyone in attendance. Can't make it, no worries. Find out more information about the book and my publisher, hereA brief synopsis is below.

Sasha loves to shoot hoops and ride her bike. Those are her favorite things to do. But she also enjoys her Nana’s yummy treats. One day, Sasha learns her Nana has diabetes and can no longer eat the tasty snacks they have baked together over the years. With quick thinking, Sasha comes up with a clever plan to help her Nana become more active and healthy. Before long, Sasha and Nana realize they both have some new favorite things.

Until next time, don't forget the YAP motto ... "Anything is possible, as long as you believe!"
